Abstract

The study aimed to examine the impact of applying financial engineering on achieving financial inclusion and developing financial risk management capabilities, an applied study on some branches of the Misr Bank in Cairo and Giza Governorates, and by trying to answer the main question of the study: What is the role of financial engineering and its impact on achieving financial inclusion and developing Financial risk management capabilities? Several sub-questions of the research problem emerge from the main question, and based on the descriptive analytical-theoretical approach of previous literature in this field through three hypotheses that were researched, it became clear from the results of the study that there is a significant relationship between financial engineering and financial inclusion, a significant relationship and impact between financial engineering and financial significant relationship between , Financial risks, financial inclusion and financial risk management, and indicated the validity of  three hypotheses. Among the most important recommendations of the study is the development of regulatory systems and procedures and setting them in proportion to financial engineering applications and tools, and preparing the bank’s regulatory and human environment to implement financial inclusion trends and practices, through a strategic plan and an appropriate training plan to increase employees’ skills on financial inclusion, building an integrated institutional system around financial risk management, so that procedures are developed, sustainability elements are enhanced in development, and keeping pace with global trends in the areas of financial risk management.
