Abstract

This study aimed to identify the opportunities and the challenges of adopting cloud accounting in Al-Madar and Libyana Telecom Companies in Libya. Achieving this goal the descriptive analytical method was adopted. The study data was collected by using a questionnaire form. The study found; there is opportunities for adopting the cloud accounting in Al- Madar and Libyana Telecom companies in Libya, and there is several challenges face it. The study recommended to adopt the cloud accounting application in Al- Madar and Libyana Telecom companies in Libya, training employees and developing their skills in this field, enact law regulating the relationship between service provider companies and beneficiaries, and develop a strategic plan to establish local service providers companies to reduce the cost of obtaining service, and increase trust in the cloud.
