Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the efficiency of intellectual capital in the financial sector, through a study and what is the nature of its relationship with the characteristics of the Egyptian financial sector on a sample of (15) banks Listed in the Egyptian stock market, during the period from (2006 - 2020) with a total number of views 225 views In order to achieve the objectives of the study, intellectual capital was measured by the value added factor of intellectual capital, which is human capital efficiency, structural capital efficiency, and customer capital efficiency, And measuring the characteristics of the financial sector (profitability, accounting earnings quality, financial leverage).
The results of the study showed a high level of intellectual capital in the study sample, meaning that intellectual capital, with its knowledge, skills and experience, is a strategic resource that achieves the efficiency of banks. It also showed the existence of a relationship between intellectual capital and its components (human capital, structural capital, capital customers) with the characteristics of Egyptian banks; Meaning the efficiency of intellectual capital and its components (human capital, structural capital, customer capital) in the Egyptian financial sector. This provides evidence of a role for intellectual capital in achieving financial sector efficiency.
